Engagement is just for newbies!!!

While most people think Engaging is everything on social media 

That's not true 

Yeah engagement is good, Engagement is a great way to get eyes on you 

But what if you don't engage for a day?

What if you're not able to engage for a week? 

What would happen then?

You'll lose all the traction and it'll take you weeks to get that traction back while to lose it again (If you get busy again on something)

So what else can you do?

It's to build relationships

I thought building relationships was BS as well until I started seeing the results of it

Just last month, One of my relatives died (he was very close to me) 

I was off for 2-3 weeks from all the social media platforms

I just used to post once or twice a week (sometimes not even that)

And the fact was my account would have been dead if I didn't have people supporting me

I had friends who used to comment, like or engage with my posts 

Even when I couldn't engage at all

I didn't lose even a single follower

This happened just because I built strong relationships

It doesn't require a lot from your side to build or maintain relationships

All you have to do is SHOW UP 

Whenever they post something shows up there,

• Like it 

• RT it 

• Comment on it 

• DM them 

Over the long run, these things alone are enough to build relationships with people (Long-Term relationships)

Go and build relationships with people whose content you like and resonate with 

Or maybe you wanna build relationships with people outside of your niche?
