How to practice Copywriting

If you want to become a good Writer/Copywriter, The only thing that you should do is:- Write, yeah write a lot

How to practice copywriting as a beginner

You might be willing to learn copywriting, or you already are learning it

But taking courses, reading books and following good copywriters isn't the real learning

To learn for real, you'll have to practice writing copies

Because without practice or practical experience, you'll not be able to write good copies, you won't be confident in yourself

Now many of you will ask me - "we don't have any clients, so how can we practice copywriting?"

Don't worry about that

That's what I'm here for, I'll tell you 2 ways to practice copywriting

1) Write copies for your products, write ads, emails and landing pages like you'll do for your clients

And if you don't have a product or service of your own you can

2) Imagine a product or service, or pick anything that you see online and write a copy for it

I started this way as well, I was given a task by my friend to write a copy for a "floppy disk"… yeah literally a floppy disk

It was a challenge to me as well, why? Because why would anyone buy a floppy disk now?

From there I started to imagine and write copy for such products

It did 2 things for me:-

It helped me to create a portfolio

It helped me to boost my confidence

But this is not the last step, after you have written your copy, how would you know that it's good?

For that what you can do is:-

Join FB, Reddit, Twitter and such platforms and post your copy there asking people for feedback

Many people will be there to help you for sure, but many people have helped me there

Practice is the only way to achieve mastery in anything, Copywriting is no exception
