In Marketing, Traffic comes before anything else
The most important part of any marketing process is- knowing where your traffic will come from, If you know it, Understand it, and break it down your marketing efforts will double up
IN MARKETING, TRAFFIC > ANYTHING ELSE
I made this mistake my whole life:-
I tried to make products, content and offers before even knowing where the traffic would come from
For those of you who live in a cave, traffic means Readers, Leads, or Prospects
So without getting a stream of people seeing your post, ads, or content
You can't convert
So typically the most important, yet the most overlooked part of marketing is:- Traffic
Let me tell you about a giveaway of mine
I made an ebook telling people how to write better, But my audience was different
Yeah most of them were content creators of different niches yet not all of them wanted to become a writer
This is where knowledge of your traffic comes into play
If I was more conscious about who my audience is and what they want
Where my Audience is, What do they do, and How will they know about my giveaway
I would have performed much better
And that's what I plan to do now
I'll change the giveaway from "how to write better" to "How to write better content"
This is why "writing better" is too general, but "writing better content" is specific to my audience
I know this might not seem like a big change, but a single character or word can make a whole lot of difference in writing
Don't believe me, Fuck off
Oh I mean Fuck these doubts, see haha
A single word here and there can change your mood or how you see me
So is the case with marketing
Never neglect the knowledge of your traffic and now you know, never neglect the value of a word as well haha
Oh btw If you want that ebook you can get it here by subscribing to my newsletter
(For those of you who already have, Thank you, You're a legend)
Thank you for reading so far
Ps:- I'm gonna repeat that again, "Never neglect your audience"… got that?
