Zone of no Constraints: Why you shouldn't limit yourself
Thinking outside of the box is not about going outside of the box... It's about having no box to begin with
Zone of no constraints
We've been told since we were kids to be restricted, To stay within our limits
By our teachers, parents and all... I KNOW YOU KNOW everyone's complaining about it these days on the internet
Even though I'm not saying they're wrong for complaining... It's just, There's no use for it
However, let me tell you a story of a baby elephant 🐘
There was a baby elephant... He was tied down to a small tree by a rope so that he wouldn't run away
(It was a circus elephant)
As the elephant was small he was not able to break free
He tried again and again to break free ... For years, yet he failed
After that, he stopped trying at all, he started to believe in his head things like:-
"I can't do it, it's not worth it ... What's the point in even trying anymore"
Even after he became big, big enough to even break larger trees, in his head, he believed he couldn't
Because of that, he didn't even try...
Not because of the constraint, the chain or the tree
He couldn't break free because he, in his head thought... HE CAN'T
But that's not true at all... He now can, but he doesn't, why? Because he is putting constraints on himself now
You might be wondering why I started talking about an elephant all of a sudden
Well, because we humans are no different, we're told to think inside the box all the time, to not have different thoughts since we were kids
We were told that we must believe what we're told all the time
But the thing is that those things might have applied to us back then when we were kids
But now, not anymore, You can break free, You can think and do things however you want to, You can break free
But the thing is that these constraints affect us a lot in our day-to-day lives even now
Mainly our thinking/problem-solving abilities, We try to constrain ourselves while trying to solve problems
We're thinking about what we have, what we don't and how to make sense of things accordingly...
But wait... Do things have to be like that? No, I don't think so at all
You can solve problems differently
You can come up with your ideas, plans or thoughts
You can mix up 2 random things and create something new
You can come up with your answers...
Break free... You're not that small of an elephant anymore...
If someone says something to you and you believe it
If someone said something to you, that you believed till now
Question it!!! Yeah, You must question things
We're told to believe everything we're told but you're not that baby elephant anymore, You can be yourself
Give yourself the space to be yourself to be the big elephant of the jungle that can never be restricted by a rope or a small tree
Be free
Don't be constrained, Think outside of the box and face the world with a new perspective
What's your superpower as a human, To think differently, To have unique thoughts and ideas
Use that superpower effectively
Don't let your teachers, school or parents steal that away from you
It's yours, don't forget it, ever
Allow yourself to be in the zone of "No constraints"
A zone in which you don't limit yourself, A zone in which there are no mental constraints on you and A zone where you can let your creativity go all over the place
Thinking outside of the box doesn't mean you have to be different...
I believe it's more about letting yourself be free, to break free from constraints
Because when there are no constraints on yourself, You'll do things differently
You'll have different thoughts, Ideas and Actions...
Wait ...
Isn't that what "Think outside of the box" is all about... To Think and Act Differently
